You’ve been through one of the most difficult things a person can live through. But the point is: You lived.

And it’s probably not as simple as “…and they lived happily ever after.” Usually, it’s a lot more complicated than that.

Like me, you braced yourself as you heard those three words everyone dreads – “you have cancer”. And you may have had one or more surgeries, gone through chemotherapy, radiation or any other number of treatments, procedures and tests.

Yay! You’re done. But what’s next?

If you’re feeling lost after cancer, you’re not alone. Often, when treatments end, there’s little support to help you transition back to health and develop new ways of thriving.

You may feel like you’re not the same person you were before, and, as a cancer survivor myself, I understand – I felt that way too.

Nice to meet you.

Hi, I’m Amy Marette and I help cancer survivors discover their own path to health and wellbeing, release the fear of recurrence, and rediscover joy in life.

I was once where you are. While I was thrilled to have “beat cancer”, I was disappointed that I didn’t know how to get back to the way things used to be.

I know how hard it can be to step into survivorship; to feel defeated and exhausted; to feel like there’s no hope; to feel disillusioned that life didn’t go back to the way it was before cancer.

After my chemo treatments ended abruptly, I was left feeling sick, exhausted, and gripped by fear that the cancer would come back.

I looked at my young son and thought “he’s too young to lose his mom.”

But even more than that, I didn’t want him to see his mom constantly tired, sick, and living life in fear. I wanted him to experience the real me, my zest for life, zany sense of humor, adventure and positive energy.

After a lot of research, digging deep into my faith, and experimenting with different health protocols, I developed a set of healthy habits that transformed my life – body, mind, and spirit.

Then I began creating resources and processes to help others get and stay healthy too. And even though that was a good start, I realized it’s about more than research, nutrition and data.

It’s about community.

A place for health-minded people like you to come together and unite in your passion for kicking cancer to the curb and feeling your best so you can spend your time and energy doing the things you love, with the people you love.

You see, I have a theory about survivors. It goes like this: We are a special bunch. There’s no doubt about it. We’re willing to do whatever it takes not just to survive life’s hardships, but to take that and make an even better version of ourselves.

Our dreams consist not of surviving, but of thriving… to reach our full potential in something we build for ourselves, no matter what life throws at us. We firmly believe in the power of information, hard work, and connection…with a dash of fun.

If this sounds like you, then you’re in the right place.

It’s my passion to make sure all these features of your fighting spirit are brought to life and continuously fed.

I believe we have more control over our health than we’re led to believe.

But this is not a cookie-cutter approach. Everyone is different, and although I apply science-backed data, my approach is to keep it flexible and see what makes you feel best. A holistic approach tailored to your needs and your lifestyle will give you the solid foundation to make healthy changes that actually stick.

As a certified Integrative Health Coach, I help women like you develop survivorship skills so you can discover your own path to health and wellbeing, release the fear, and rediscover joy in life.

My lifestyle has been transformed. I’m feeling positive about today and my future. My son feels like he has his mom back. And that puts a smile on my face.

No one can promise that you’ll be 100% healthy throughout your lifetime, but I can help you put steps in place to feel amazing, release the fear and feel a sense of joy, peace, and hope.

Let’s work together to help move you from scared survivor to joyful thriver.

Look what can exist for you:

  • Making time to nurture yourself through a simple self-care routine
  • Freedom from the anxiety that used to grip you before your next scan or test
  • A deeper sense of purpose in your life
  • Healthy eating that promotes healing and is un-boring, simple, and delicious
  • A community of people who get you, have been through what you’ve been through, and are heading toward hope along with you

Random fun facts about me…

I’m a cat person with two adorable rescue pups but no cats…at the moment (hopefully I can talk my hubs and son into that soon!)

I moved to London a coffee-drinker, came back to Chicago a tea afficianado, and left a little piece of my heart in Europe.

I roughed it through 44 countries in 6 continents and happy to report that I crapped my pants in only 4 of those countries. Next time I travel there will be fluffy bathrobes in the closet.

I love yoga, Ted Lasso, and am an accidental spoonerist…tappy to halk about that sometime.

If you’re feeling the vibe and want to get on the path to health and hope, find out how we can work together.
