My Favorite Kitchen Tools + Organization Products

After researching ingredient lists and testing so many “clean” products, I was happy with only a handful, while most were a big fail.

Below are my favorite personal care products I love and use, including soaps, shower/bath gels, toothpaste, lotions, sun protection and deodorants.

Try them for yourself and let me know what you think!

NOTE: While I do my best to keep this list up to date, sometimes companies change their formulations or discontinue products.

Small Appliances

When you start cooking more at home, having the right tools is critical. But you don’t need everything. Here is my curated list of the essentials for clean living, plus some of my favorite “nice to haves”.

note: I’ve tested lots of kitchen tools and below are my favorites that I use and love. While I try to keep this list up to date, please note that sometimes companies discontinue certain models or make changes to them.

A high-speed blender is essential for making smoothies and soups. The powerful blades break down any frozen ingredients, ice, fruit, vegetable, and make them into a delicious, smooth power drink.

I love making pesto, sauces, salad dressings, vegan mayo and ice cream (“nice” cream) in this little powerhouse chopper and food processor. You can drizzle oil in through the holes at the top.  It’s easy to clean, too.

A mid-sized blender that’s easy to store in an upper cabinet. Perfect for making cashew cream, small smoothies and other quick purees. I prefer the 900 watt or higher; anything less doesn’t have enough power.

I use this 6-quart everything-cooker at least a couple times per week. Makes dinner prep so fast, so easy. You can even cook from frozen. Great for cooking lentils, beans, soups, rice, even large batches of steel-cut oatmeal.

Small but mighty! I used this juicer almost daily for 9 years and never had a problem… until my hubs wanted my juice! Perfect for 1-2 people, easy to clean and a true workhorse. We upgraded to the larger version.

Same excellent quality, easy to use, easy to clean, just larger and faster.
This centrifigal juicer extracts the maximum amount of juice with the least prep time.
Just wash the produce and stuff it down the chute.

Kitchen Gadgets & Storage

These are all the little tools that make a big difference in your ninja cooking skills.

Plastic can leach into foods and liquids, especially when heated or when the containers are older and start to break down. Make the switch to glass containers so you know your food will be safe. Switch all at once, or over time.

No more stinky garlic fingers from digging the mince out of a press. You’ll be eating cancer-fighting garlic every day with this easy roller. My readers call this “life-changing” (and I agree!).

I prefer measuring ingredients by weight, rather than in cups and teaspoons.  It’s more accurate, which is especially important for baking. This is a *nice-to-have*.

These storage containers are a must-have for batch cooking and saving leftovers safely. They come in several different sizes and shapes, so you can stock up.

Use these cute silicone storage pouches instead of plastic baggies. They’re safer and better for the environment..win-win! Just wash between uses.

Juice enough for two days…drink one Mason jar today and store the rest in a second jar for tomorrow. Fill to the top to leave as little air as possible. Cover with a plastic lid, sold separately. Keep it easy with reusable straws.

These lids fit perfectly onto the Mason jars. The reusable straws fit into the lids so you can attach them to your Mason jar and sip your juice without having to use additional glasses or containers.

I prefer these plastic storage lids over the metal ones that come with the jars.
